The simplest form of business is affiliate marketing business. In this model, you make money by recommending other people’s products. All you need to focus on is getting traffic to your website, and that’s it.

You don’t have to:

  • Acquire/create your own product
  • Handle shipping
  • Deal with product returns
  • Spend time on customer support
  • Processing card payments
  • Etc.

How Affiliate Works?

You simply get paid whenever your website visitor clicks on the product link (and ends up buying it).

BUT

Why would anyone pay you for that?

Simple: let’s say a business sells a $100 product, and its profit margins are $20. It costs them nothing to sell additional products. In fact, they make $20. So from their perspective, they just made $20 for free.

Of course, you had to bring a new customer to them, and you don’t want to work for free either. So they decide to give you $10. So if you managed to bring them a million customers, you just made 10 million dollars. And you don’t even own that business.

On the other hand, they also made 10 million dollars and didn’t have to do any marketing. They haven’t hired anyone, haven’t had to risk any money on advertising – nothing. Someone else (you) just gave them a bunch of customers, and they made a bunch of money.

How To Get The Customers?

This all sounds great in theory, but how to find all these customers? In short, the easiest way is through a blog.
